Ravindra Pratap Singh, popularly known as R.P. Singh, is an Indian playwright, poet, essayist, and critic who writes with equal ease in English and Hindi. Born on 1 August 1976 in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, he has earned recognition for his profound contribution to literature, education, and theatre.
Currently serving as a Professor of English at the University of Lucknow, Singh’s work explores the relationship between humanity, art, and society. His plays and poems reveal a deep concern for the human condition, social values, and cultural identity.
R.P. Singh has authored numerous plays, poetry collections, essays, and works for children, many of which have been performed or published across India. His writings have appeared in various national and international journals and anthologies.
